FromSoftware’s split with Bandai Namco could lock Elden Ring to consoles.

If shareholders force FromSoftware to ditch Bandai Namco, the next Elden Ring DLC or sequel might end up as a PlayStation/Xbox exclusive, leaving PC players out in the cold. I’ve seen how console deals shape game availability, and this move would be a blatant power play that hurts the open PC ecosystem. We need to push back before PC gamers lose another major title to console gatekeeping.

Fr wait so does this mean it's cancelled on PC? Or are we getting a console-only Elden Ring 2? Either way, I'm not buying a PS5 just for this.

@Zack T. Doubt they'd drop PC; FromSoftware still needs the steam sales. Plus, you'd save battery on a laptop vs a PS5 anyway.

@lucas m. steam sales don't stop sony from paying for exclusivity; battery life on a laptop vs ps5 is a joke when we're talking frame times and thermals.
